Wellington Radar Nowcast

This page displays a deterministic radar nowcast produced using the pysteps package. It makes use of data from the public images from the MetService Wellington 300K radar composite . The animation below shows the last two hours of radar images, followed by a three-hour forecast (forecast timestamps are displayed in red). It dwells on the latest image and the end of the forecast. Best efforts only - this system may not always be running.
